2022 Election Flyering Contest

DYB Volunteers,

Thank you so much for helping us spread the word about our volunteer rideshare-to-the-polls service. Our DYB 2022 flyering contest will take place from now until Election Day, November 8, 2022 across Philadelphia. We’ve found that posting flyers around the city can be a very effective means of generating awareness of mutual aid services like Drive Your Ballot. See below for how to get started.

Competition Rules: For those who want to make this interesting, we are happy to announce a simple competition: The volunteer who posts the most flyers will receive a $25 Amazon gift card (or donation to your favorite charity). To participate, you must record your flyers in the Google Maps list provided below.

How to get started:

  1. Download & print out flyers: https://www.driveyourballot.com/download-flyers. We’re focusing on the top 3 flyers, but feel free to post which ever ones you’d like.

  2. Check out the map of already-posted flyers & try to pick an area of the city with less coverage: https://goo.gl/maps/w7JSVjA2NKdHtGvs7

  3. The fun part — walk around your chosen area, taping/stapling the flyer in high-traffic areas.

  4. Record where you post flyers on your Google Maps app using this list: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uAxpfs6pxn5X37au8?g_st=ic Note: To sign up, you must open this link from your phone and select “Become an editor” in the Google Maps app.

  5. Optional: Take photos of you & your fliers, and share with the #flyering channel on Slack.
